Wardrobe & Other
The honorable mentions category for me, reflects work that I value and am currently exploring but may not have a large quantity of. This section also contains odd jobs and creative endeavors not directly related to digital design.
Wardrobe Styling
I have always had a profound interest in fashion! I found that not only do I love exploring texture and tone of clothes, I really wanted to dig into who these people are. It doesn’t matter if a character doesn’t have a speaking role, or is only on the screen for 5 seconds. I want them to feel real, and that means making sure their clothes and accessories reflect who they are in those 5 seconds. I have started designing & sewing my own clothing, and tailoring & altering clothes for others! Please reach out if you’d like to see an example deck of what I provide for wardrobe styling.

soft early 80s direction

I wanted a statement blouse that would compliment the cod sandwich, and this particular one had a nice ocean motif!

this was a commercial for Visitlex that in this scene represented creative culture for the city. These are actually all my friends, because sometimes finding talent means calling up all your pals. The beret and fringe jacket are from my personal collection! I provided direction to another stylist for this shoot.

This was a brand spot for A&W, I provided direction for the wardrobe and a couple of purchasing links. I wanted this older couple to come across as playful but still refined, with some retro flair.

This probably belongs in the prop section, but this old tv was a solve for the fact that we couldn't shoot outside during winter for a spring commercial. So I said why not have a funky old tv playing a spring race instead of a cutaway of b-roll?
Set and Product Styling
So along with wardrobe styling, I also really enjoy set and prop styling. I think being resourceful is a key component to being a great set designer. It’s exciting to find a solution for how to make something! While I certainly make things up as I go thanks to that resourcefulness, I also research the heck out of processes. Set design is something I’d love to do more of.
Concentration!
Had no idea how to make these, for this small simple shoot. I didn't have the right piping tip, so I took the extrusion piece off the soft serve machine. Heyo! It worked. The frost on the glass is spraypaint. :)
I frequently work with models and other talent. My goal is to communicate clearly so that we get the pose down in a few takes.
sometimes you gotta cut up a bunch of fruit!
The end result! I made these ads too.
look how pretty! I sprinkled the tajín so carefully.
Sometimes you just don't have the budget available for someone who's dedicated to one single craft like food styling or photography, and I happily step in, in those situations. These are just a small sampling of photography I directed, shot, and styled myself.
I made up this cocktail.
Cute picnic in my backyard!
